This is a sculpture made of a post oak limb, remnants of a carved oak mantle and, aluminum dowel. It is a hanging mobile piece from the Pedestrian Small People Series. The body of the pieces is the finely finished oak limb, oiled, sanded and, waxed. The head, an oak block 8 inches long, 5 inches tall and, 3 inches thick, is the same on both sides made of two mirror-imaged carvings of oak leaves. A one-quarter inch aluminum rod connects the head to the body. It hangs from a one sixteenth inch cable.
