This vertical sculpture is twenty-eight
inches high and thirteen inches square. There are two eleven and
one half inch wrinkled cubes spaced seven inches apart. Each cube
has nine aluminum rods that extend toward the center of the space
between them. The rods are evenly spaced on a grid pattern of that
wrinkled surface. Each rod has a one and one half inch diameter
valve that appears to have squished nine other elements between
the valves. These nine elements are highly polished blood wood.
They have been pressed so hard that they are now touching each other
and extend in an irregular almost semi liquid pattern beyond the
eleven and one half inch limit of the two opposing lead cubes. Who
made this happen? Why is it happening?
